Short answer: to cancel FlexJobs, log in, click your name in the top-right corner, open Account Details, go to the Subscription tab and click Cancel My Account. It takes about two minutes. Below are the exact screens, the refund guarantee, and what to do if you signed up through an app store or you are charged after cancelling.
The steps below are based on a walkthrough of FlexJobs' cancellation flow recorded in January 2025, so the buttons or wording may have shifted slightly since. The path itself (Account Details, then Subscription) is what to look for.
How do I cancel my FlexJobs subscription?
- Log in to your FlexJobs account.
- Click your name in the top-right corner. A menu opens with four options: Account Details, FAQs, Customer Support and Logout. Choose Account Details.
- On the Account Management page you will see these tabs: Contact Info, Email Preferences, Password, Billing, Subscription and FAQ. Open Subscription.
- Under Your Current Subscription you can see your plan type, your start date and your next renewal date. Check that date before you go further, and click Cancel My Account.
- FlexJobs then asks a few feedback questions: why you are leaving, how actively you have used the service, how likely you are to recommend it, and an optional comment box. Answer them or keep them short.
- Click the green Cancel My Account button to finish.
One thing to avoid: next to the green button there is a plain Cancel link. That one backs out of the process and keeps your subscription active. The button you want is the green one.
Afterwards, go back to the Subscription tab and check its status, and look for a confirmation email. If you do not see either, contact customer support, which is one of the options in the same name menu.
Does FlexJobs refund you if you cancel?
FlexJobs has described a satisfaction guarantee on its pricing page: if you are not satisfied, you can cancel and request a refund by phone, email or its client service virtual chat within 14 days of account creation or renewal.
Some independent guides add detail: a full refund for weekly and monthly plans, and only partial refunds within 30 days for the three-month and annual plans. We could not confirm that split on FlexJobs' own pages, and terms change, so read the current guarantee at flexjobs.com/pricing before you rely on it, and request the refund in the same message as your cancellation.
How do I cancel the FlexJobs free trial?
The same way, from Account Details, then Subscription, and before the trial ends. Cancelling on the last day is risky: with any subscription service a payment can process before your cancellation registers. Check the next renewal date in the Subscription tab and cancel at least a day or two earlier.
What if I signed up through the mobile app?
Subscriptions bought through an app store are managed by that store. If you subscribed inside the FlexJobs app, you need to cancel in Google Play (Subscriptions) or the Apple App Store (your Apple ID's subscriptions), not on the FlexJobs website. If you cannot find any plan under Account Details, this is the most likely reason.
What if FlexJobs charged me after I cancelled?
- Look at the Subscription tab and at your email for a cancellation confirmation. Some users report not receiving any email receipt or confirmation, so a missing email does not prove the cancellation failed, but it does mean you should check the tab.
- Contact customer support by phone, email or chat with the date you cancelled and, if you have it, a screenshot.
- Dispute the charge with your card issuer if support does not fix it. This is a normal route for charges you did not authorise after cancelling.

Is FlexJobs worth keeping, or should you cancel?
